Search Engine Optimization
What is SEO?
SEO or otherwise known as search engine optimization is the process of optimizing a companies website or on-page SEO with the use of keywords, website loading speed, internal linking, etc.. to allow your website to be search engine friendly. Off page methods however such as backlinks, anchor text, citation building, social networking links, etc… are all techniques you use that are outside your website which will allow your site to gain more visibility in search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing. With great SEO you can expect a much higher amount of traffic going directly to your website from search engines such as Google which can bring in a very large revenue source for any business!
Why use SEO?
There is a lot of traffic that comes directly from search engines. Americans alone conducted a staggering 20.3 billion searches in one month. Google accounted for 13.4 billion searches, followed by Yahoo! (3.3 billion), Microsoft (2.7 billion), Ask Network (518 million), and AOL LLC (277 million). Search engines are the new Yellow Pages from a Burke 2011 report:
76% of respondents used search engines to find local business information vs. 24% who turned to print yellow pages.
67% had used search engines in the past 30 days to find local information, and 23% responded that they had used online social networks as a local media source. Of the 67% of search engine traffic came from three search engines being:
• Google with 90.62% of traffic.
• Yahoo! With 3.78% of traffic.
• Bing with 3.72% of traffic.
Being listed at the top of the results not only provides the greatest amount of traffic, but also instills trust in consumers. If using Google you can integrate your reviews to your site. 90% of customers use online reviews to make buying decision. Furthermore unlike many other forms of advertising with SEO you get ideal clients as they are actually looking for you and your services! Why not make it even easier for them to find you? Because they are already looking for your services and products they are more likely to be a motivated buyer and will actually take action and purchase your services/products. Lastly unlike other forms of advertising SEO is completely organic and does not require any advertising expenditure to send traffic and sales to your company for free! Sounds like a scam? It’s not we promise.
How we can improve your SEO:
When we talk about SEO we are mainly concerning ourselves with Google SEO as 90% of search engine traffic comes from Google. There are two main forms of improving your SEO being on page SEO and off page SEO. For on page SEO we will use header tags, title tags, targeted keywords, decrease bounce rate, keyword density, submit your website to google index to have it crawled, image optimization, page load speed, interlinking, meta descriptions, etc… For off page SEO techniques we will help you gain backlinks, anchor text back links, social media linking, citation building for local SEO, etc…
SEO Goals:
More directed traffic to your website from Google Search engine. More sales from targeted keywords both short tail and long tail keywords. More visibility for your business and website. More consistent traffic on a month to month basis and lead generation. And more importantly direct traffic. Imagine customers coming to you instead of you having to chase them? In the end the ultimate goal of SEO is to increase your companies visibility online, thus increase the number of visitors who see your website and convert them to clients.
